Bullish Scenario for Bitcoin Strengthens After Major Rise: Famous US CEO Reveals Expectations and Sets a Timeframe!

Bitcoin has risen by approximately 23% in the last week and is trading above $77,000.

At this point, Bitcoin climbed above the 200-day moving average for the first time since November 2025, and recorded its biggest weekly gain since March 2023.

Altcoins also experienced simultaneous increases. Ethereum rose by 30%, Solana by 25%, and XRP by 47%.

While the market wonders whether this rise will continue, exciting statements have come from Strive CEO Matt Cole.

Matt Cole, commenting on the situation via X, stated that the bear market in Bitcoin is over and that $BTC could enter a strong upward trend in the next 12 to 18 months.

In his analysis comparing Bitcoin and gold, Cole argued that $BTC’s performance against gold ($BTC/Gold) is a significant leading indicator of Bitcoin’s price movements in dollar terms.

$BTC/Gold Rate Gave a Signal Beforehand!

The CEO of Strive stated that Bitcoin’s peak against gold occurred in December 2024, whereas its peak against the US dollar was reached approximately a year later, in October 2025.

A similar pattern emerged at the bottom levels. According to Cole, Bitcoin’s bottom against gold occurred in February 2026, while its bottom in dollar terms was approximately five months later, in July 2026.

“The fact that Bitcoin simultaneously broke above both the dollar and gold is particularly noteworthy,” said Cole, adding that this dual breakout significantly increased his confidence that the bear market in Bitcoin has ended.

Cole also added that Bitcoin’s price in gold terms reinforces his view that its next cycle will be the strongest we’ve seen so far.

The Next Bitcoin Cycle Could Be the Strongest Yet!

Strive’s CEO stated that current developments against gold and the dollar could signal the beginning of a new bull cycle for Bitcoin, arguing that the next $BTC cycle could be the strongest to date.
