Binance has announced that it will support a planned upgrade to the THORChain (RUNE) network. As part of the upgrade, token deposits and withdrawals on the THORChain network will be temporarily suspended starting at 7:00 PM on November 4, 2025.
Binance to Support THORChain (RUNE) Network Upgrade
The upgrade is expected to be completed when block height 23,540,000 is reached, approximately 8:00 PM on November 4, 2025. Binance will handle all technical requirements to ensure the security of user funds and the smooth resumption of transactions during this period.
The exchange also stated that trading of RUNE and related tokens will not be affected by the upgrade. This means users will be able to continue their spot and futures trading without interruption during the network upgrade.
Binance will automatically re-enable deposits and withdrawals once the system's stability is confirmed following the completion of the network upgrade. No additional announcements will be made at this time.
THORChain is known as a decentralized liquidity network that allows for the exchange of multiple blockchain assets. This upgrade is expected to enhance the network's performance, security, and improve transaction speeds.
