Cardano Founder Charles Hoskinson Sent Bullish Messages and Signaled an Airdrop for ADA Holders

Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson gave optimistic messages regarding the long-term outlook of the cryptocurrency market, stating that the $ADA ecosystem can differentiate itself from its competitors thanks to Bitcoin DeFi and its partner chain model.

Hoskinson stated that one of Cardano’s most significant advantages is its ability to represent Bitcoin on the network in a non-trustworthy and tax-neutral way, without the need for a custody service. He noted that Bitcoin’s UTXO model could be migrated to Cardano’s EUTXO structure, and argued that private Bitcoin lending and decentralized finance applications could also be developed through the Midnight network.

According to the Cardano founder, these features could give the $ADA ecosystem a significant competitive advantage in the Bitcoin-based DeFi space.

Hoskinson also stated that the partner chain model will be one of Cardano’s biggest growth areas in the long term. He noted that Midnight adds significant value to the Cardano ecosystem, and that the success of the NIGHT token could pave the way for new partner chains.

Hoskinson stated that the launch of new partner chains could create new airdrop opportunities for $ADA holders, arguing that this model could directly benefit Cardano users.

Hoskinson stated that innovation in the crypto sector is not limited to just a few large projects, noting that many important ideas originate from projects ranked within the top 50, 100, or 200 by market capitalization. He cited NEAR founder Illia Polosukhin’s work in chain abstraction, Algorand founder Silvio Micali, and Tezos founder Arthur Breitman as examples, highlighting their pioneering role in the sector’s development.

Hoskinson stated that he is generally optimistic about the future of the crypto market, but that the CLARITY Act being discussed in the US is of critical importance. He noted that if the law is passed, a large amount of capital could flow into the sector, and that a temporary recovery might be seen in the market initially.

Hoskinson, arguing that the crypto market will reach all-time highs again, said that the total market capitalization is currently about 50 percent below its peak of $4.4 trillion. He noted that current levels represent a higher low compared to previous cycles, and that there are many potential catalysts that could inject $10 trillion or more of new capital into the market.
